Unlike a game server where you pick a particular game and number of slots, a dedicated server is all about freedom of choice. You do not share server resources with anyone. You have an entire server at your disposal. The number and type of game servers you can host is only limited by the hardware resources of the server. You can even host your own websites.

However, unlike a game server which is managed by us, when you rent a dedicated server, you are responsible for all of the administration. This includes installing and configuring mods as well as downloading the game server files. Those with no experience with dedicated servers, we recommend going with Windows as it is much easier to learn and manage.
